This is for anyone who likes Ireland and would like to come here one day
Dia duit (Hello) ! Conas ata tu ? (How are you ?)
Bhi me i Cill Airne i gContae Ciarrai an bhliain seo caite (I was in Killarney last year). Bhi se an-mhaith ! (It was really good !).
Okay, enough Irish now. It's reminding me of school...
I know lots of people like Ireland so I thought I'd post some pictures from when I was on holiday in Killarney last September. Hope you liked the Irish. It's very hard to learn as you keep changing the word order, spelling, etc. I'm better at German than I am at Irish, my own language 'cause you only use the one word order, etc. which makes it MUCH easier.
Here's the pictures :
Ladies View was named after Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting who stopped to look at the scenery from this spot during the Queen's visit to Killarney in 1861.
Here's a close up of the lakes at Ladies View
Killarney National Park
Here's a tree that's meant to be over 100 years old in Killarney National Park. Somehow, it reminds me of The Lord of the Rings :
Muckross House
Unfortunately we didn't get to see Torc Waterfall. *sigh*
Long post, huh ? Hope you liked the pictures.
Fly on forever !
