Will I Ever Get Better ?

I've had bells palsy (half of my face is temporarily paralysed) for a week now and I finished the medicine today but it doesn't seem to be much better.

I still can't eat or drink right. It's even hard to sleep as I can't close my left eye fully !

I hope I didn't get the medicine too late or this could stay for 6 months !

I found out that a few people had it for a week and a half to two weeks so hopefully that's the most it stays with me.

At the moment, it hurts to touch any part of the left side of my face. I really really hope this means that the nerves are coming back now as they were kind of dead so that I'll be able to eat and drink easily and get a good nights sleep.

With a bit of luck, this will go in the next week or so.

Ow ! Ow ! Ow !

I don't know if it's whatever way I slept or if I done too much blogging (my mum says it is RSI - from going on the internet and typing too much) but my wrists have been killing me since yesterday afternoon - So sore !
I don't know why but my left ankle started killing me when I walked around the same time. It's so annoying. Right now I have my right wrist in a bandage to stop me bending it and making it worse.

I have my first double PE class of the year first thing tomorrow morning at 9 o' clock - Ugh ! I'll be too tired to do anything, especially since I got less than 5 hours sleep last night ! Maybe I can get out of it as my wrist is killing me and I can't do too much with it. LOL !

This is for anyone who read my last post to let them know how I am now :


Well, I didn't kick the dentist ! LOL ! The fillings turned out alright in the end. At least the fillings were in the back so they didn't hurt as much as the last one which was in the front. I think I could have gotten a bruise on my gum in the left side of my mouth from the needle as it still hurts really bad when I try to smile or talk a lot which is very very very hard for me not to do. LOL !

When I came out of the dentist I could hardly talk or smile. When I did smile I looked like Adam Sandler in the movie Little Nicky 'cause my mouth was still numb (both sides) ! LOL !

I have to go back to the dentist for a front filling in 2 weeks - Yikes ! She said I don't really need it as I'm going to get a brace but she'd rather do it even though I have to go through a lot more pain for a front one than I did this time when I got 2 back fillings.

The Dreaded Dentist. Yikes !

I've to go to the dentist today for a small filling. Unfortunately, I think I'll probably have to get a needle. Yikes ! Well, I'm not scared of anything except needles. For some reason I'm terrified of them. I can't even look at one on the T.V. ! Maybe I have trypanophobia (fear of injections/needles) as I nearly had a panic attack 2 weeks ago when the dentist took one out to give me a small filling. I literally started shaking, sweating, sobbing, I couldn't breathe right...

I don't have panic attacks so I don't know what they're like but I think I nearly had one then. Ever since then I've been terrified of going back to the dentist as I will probably have to get another needle.

The last time my gum swelled up and most of my mouth went dead. Although, my gum was REALLY REALLY sore ! I was told not to talk much which is actually impossible for me. I didn't eat anything beforehand as it was an early appointment and I can hardly ever stop eating, yet I'm really skinny. Weird, huh ?
Anyway, I was left starving for most of the day. I didn't get the feeling back in my mouth until late in the afternoon and I went to the dentist that morning !
I might be going to the cinema with my friends this evening so I hope the feeling will be back in my mouth enough for me to eat a bit of popcorn. LOL !

Basically I'm not looking forward to going to the dentist today and I'm worried I'll actually have a panic attack or something this time. I'm actually shaking by just thinking about it right now. I hope it's not as bad this time...

Wish me luck. I'll probably need it.
